My initial point was that Romo wouldn't be getting this spin if it happened to him. He'd be getting blamed. You & I both know that & it would be unfair.

You're probably right. And it's because early in his career, when he should have gotten rid of the ball, he didn't and ended up fumbling. He's a product of his reputation even if not every situation is his fault.
