NFL and college offenses have changed a lot over the past decade. They excel at taking advantage of the rules changes intended to favor offenses. Consequences, playing defense has undergone a paradigm shift, I think. (Would you agree @jterrell?) Some teams, like my Longhorns, have not been able to make the shift. I think the Cowboys are in that boat as well.
