This is why that whole "next man up" is such a crock of garbage. This isn't pee-wee football. Losing someone like Diggs isn't replaceable. He's one of the best playmaking DBs in this league and was a spark and a leader on and off the field. Bland looked good because he played opposite of Diggs. Same as a WR who looks good because the true #1 is getting all the attention. This defense isn't going to be the same at all without Diggs. Already showing today. Looks extremely flat and zero energy.

Not just the run, but the mobile QB. That's been an issue the last few seasons.
