Dak is a great front runner. But the art of the comeback eludes him.

He has 12 or 14 comeback wins.

Lamb was definitely open, but Dak was looking middle of the field the whole time.

I would not be surprised if the playcall was "middle or run" so being open on the sideline is meaningless. It is one of the reasons I find it funny when people talk about someone being open 30 yards and complain when the QB takes the 7-8 yard pass. If the QB sees someone open he is not going to keep looking and similarly if the play is middle or run he is not going to keep going after that.
