I don't know what the final win/loss for the season will be, but anyone else getting the feeling that it will come down to either win the last game of the season for a playoff berth or go home?

And we know how that turns out, don't we?

Only difference is that this time the other team is highly unlikely to care about the result...

Well, way to suck out the life and all the good feelings they had built up. Two straight weeks of ****** play calling and game plans. Yep, I'll admit it, I had high hopes Weeden would be an adequate backup - not so much. I love this team, but Jesus sometimes they make it hard to be a fan ...

Today was a real low point as a Cowboys fan watching that bum starting under center.

This isn't all on Weeden, IMO - the line wasn't giving him much time and we still have defensive players coming through untouched all too often.

His throws were the turning point in game more than once.


I am over this loss.

Good coach, not great, a good coach keeps this close and wins by field goal 29-28.

Cowboys botched the backup QB situation big-time! Can't control what Orton did but out of ALL the options, Weeden was the best one? I know we couldn't afford much but come on...

Meh. I expected to lose a closer game this week, without Tony. But I gotta say, I'm not thrilled with out quickly our fan support for the Cowboys unraveled. Not looking forward to this week.

Also, holding my breath on the defensive injuries now. Man, I hate the effect of injuries on the NFL season. They change the trajectory of the whole league.

Well, you're right, they would care a lot if it meant knocking us out. But it's still not the same. They wouldn't play questionable players for example.

Still not overly impressed with Arizona. They did enough to win but they left us in this game way too long with an inept backup QB.

Moral of the story, never pick up any QB that Cleveland let's go of.
