i havent heard hurds name called all night hes been quiet at least for this first game

but austin is showing up big tonight. hes making plays

choice look good on that drive, nice td run
 
How is Austin catching all these passes? I thought since he was big and fast and from a small schoolthat it that automatically made him Randal Williams and he could never be anything.
 
Choice .. untouched.

Our running game should be damned nice this season. Of course, if tonight's special teams play is any indication (and I'm praying it's not) the running game won't matter.

i am really disappointed in the development of mcq and marten... not sure either of them should make the team based on ability/performance alone.
 
choice had a nice run, but i want to see more. he doesn't have break away speed, but got the vision and understands how to set up blocks.
 
Im glad Austin is making plays i hope he really improved i see him with more potential than Hurd

I am not a Brad hater....but would this score be the same if Bartel played in his place 2Q? Just a different tempo and energy.
 
Man, Austin was Dominant on that drive.

Very impressed with him, he really could be the missing link. To think he is 6'3" 215lbs and can run like the wind. Top it off, he is starting to play like his size would indicate.

He's got some burst and quickness between the tackles.

Curious.... Amendola is one and done so far?

Has he been in at all during game?

Would like to see him get a few chances... not just one.

He's another bruiser and he's not that fast so you're not going to expect that many long break away runs from him like you will see from Jones this season. Yes, you will see that from Jones.
