Aside from being shut out, which is always embarrassing, this is about a good of a loss the Cowboys could have. Time to start a new winning streak.

He was completing around 75% of his passes before todays game in the 6 games when Cooper arrived. And with a bad OL thats been injured.

A lot of QBs can complete those dink and dunk passes with a lot more accuracy. He hardly ever hits a receiver in stride to get the maximum yards out of the play. They’re always scooping it off the ground, reaching behind them or having to climb the ladder to get it.

What area of Dak’s game has improved in 3 years?

I do think he is more aware and takes more risks even if they turn out bad. He certainly has more experience but has many many things to work on. The important thing is contract wise he is still good. We have one more year with him. If we make changes at the top and he still doesn't improve then a 1 st round Qb is where we go. But to say he needs to go now is way too soon for a 3 year player with his possible potential as he does have good things there.

Indeed. This kind of beating was always coming. Most were hoping it would be in the playoffs. This was a visceral beating— the kind that stays with you and let’s you know deep-down that you just aren’t that good. I think the Colts made it clear that the much-ballyhooed “hottest team in the league” can not only be stopped but thoroughly dominated. So much for that. Now it’s time to see if the Cowboys can bounce back.
