Game Day *** Cowboys vs Colts post game thread***

They were 8-5 in the worst division in football. If they thought they couldn't lose this is the dumbest team in sports history.
So our division is worse than the NFC South? AFC East? NFC North? NFC West? I don't think so.

I get it, today was disheartening. We played flat, uninspired football. We were well past due for a let down.

The next two weeks and how we bounce back will set the tone for our playoff run or lack thereof.

We arent as bad as what we saw today. I hope against hope all of our "hot boyz" and such are humbled and ready to go from here.
…..despite bad coaching.

That 5-game winning streak suddenly seems ages ago.

And Jason Garrett smiling and chumming it up with the Colts’ coaches & players after that performance really rubs me the wrong way. Get out of here with that trash dude..

I guess he should've chased Reich down and threatened to kick his arse like Swartz did Harbaugh.

D** Close if not worst..... Have you seen the injuries on the Commanders, Eagles and just the bad play by the Giants.... NFC East is horrible

Yes, because in each of those divisions there is at least one real contender. Every team in the NFC East is mediocre at best.

And those teams still have equal or better records than the Panthers, Dolphins, Packers, Vikings, Seahawks so what's your point?

Those divisions are not better than our division. I don't care how many 'real' contenders they have.

Food for thought....Commanders, Cowboys and Giants played games today..... 3 NFC East teams and combined... they only scored 16pts (0-0 &16). NFC East is the worst division in football.

If that makes you feel better. The NFC East is easily the worst division in football. So bad that a team like the Cowboys can actually win it.

Low chance of this happening, but we could end up either facing Washington in Dallas or at Washington. Either are still possible if Seattle keeps losing and Washington keeps winning.

It seems like all the historic negative records happened in the Garrett era...now first shut out in 15 years...when he loses its always historic I'll give him that.

Yep. He was around in 1970 when the Cowboys got embarrassed by St. Louis 38-0 at home (and that was after losing to them previously in St. Louis 20-7) in the first shoutout on MNF which was also the inauguration of MNF. . That 1970 team went on to play in the Super Bowl. Point is, these games happen and I wouldn't over-react to this one game. How they perform next week and the week after will be what's important.
