You are wrong. You can't ride the offensive player to the ground, but tackling by the back of the jersey is not a penalty.

Ellis's lack of speed is being exposed.
Once on the reverse and then on the option pitch.

Defense hasn't played bad but they have been on the field an awful lot.

The conservative play call on our one yard line cost us in two ways.

1.2pts the safety that really wasn't but the ref blew the call...why are we running out of the I-formation on that play?
2.Time of possession...the defense mad a great goal-line stand and stopped a long drive. 2 plays late they are back on the field.

That could catch up to us later in the game. The offense needs some long drives to even up the time of possession.
