I'm sorry but when a ball is under thrown by 10 yards, no route would have worked.

You don't know if it was underthrown by 10 yards, what you do know is he and Dez weren't on the same page. A poorly thrown ball, yes, but Dez was still going a direction Romo wasn't expecting. Dez should have been in competition for that ball. That's twice on the drive Dez ran the wrong route.
