OK so for those who still think Dak can be a great QB.. that series shows his weakness perfectly. Hit a big play.. looks great on stats and got us 3 pts.. BUT that receiver was out on a Go Route.. a top QB has the arm strength and skill to hit Gallup on the out and it possibly goes for much more/TD.. Gallup had to come back to the ball which meant it was contested and also no chance of YAC.

Next pass and yes gallup drops but the ball is thrown low and behind the receiver.. again if Dak can lead (god forbid) the receiver or even just accurate.. there is a chance that play works.

Dak is just flat out a bad passer. Like bad bad.

Dak never has, and I'm beginning to believe never will have, the ability to anticipate and throw guys open. That's why I don't think he's a top guy or worth that top guy money. He's a good QB and he's tough, but as good as he is he leaves so much on the field because of the aforementioned.
