I’m tired of watching these routes/calls. And when someone is open Dak needs to pull the trigger and trust it. He double pumped on like three throws already. Trust and sling it.

18 games.......3 years.....and still unsure.

Actually, the defender impeded the receiver running his route and also knocked him down which would have been illegal contact had it been a few more yards farther.

But it wasn’t. It was within 2 yards of the line of scrimmage. It’s a fundamental principle, when running rub routes, the WR has to run a natural “route”. Make contact look incidental. You can’t lower your shoulder while side-eyeing the defender you’re supposed to block.

Dak should have run for a first down there.. I know he wants to stay in the pocket but that was a lot of green grass in front of him.. Might not have gotten the first down but would have made the FG easier or gotten close enough to go for it on 4th.
