The amount invested into this defense would make me expect more from them. The draft picks, the for Gilmore, and the talent they supposedly have would make me want them to be a little better against the good teams.

It’s not rigged, but this is part of why the home team is always favored by 3 when all else is open. They tend to get a few more calls and the home crowd has an effect on that as well. Now the offense is going to have to take some chances….that usually doesn’t go well. We’ve had 3 dropped passes that hurt drives as well. Home field is a real thing.

Not rigged? The refs just magically became blind on obvious penalties on the Eagles but have super vision for the Eagles? They generated a touchdown on that drive for the Eagles.

Who cares? The pattern is beat up on bad teams, lose to good teams. Make the wild card and either one and done or win the wild card and get beat in the divisional round. Same team for 3 years now. McCarthy isn’t going to get anything done.
