I love Hawaii. My wife and I are talking about coming to Hawaii with the kids this June. My oldest wants to surf. She's been once in Mexico and had fun. I want to go to Pearl Harbor. I'm a History buff and would feel such reverence for that place. Did not get to go there when we played there.

I've been to the memorial twice, ince in 1996 and once about 3 weeks ago. That place is very moving especially when you look down upon the Arizona and think of all the men that are lay down there.

The best surf is on the north shore during the winter, that's when all the surfing contests are held. Can't wait to go out there and see some of those 25ft waves I've heard about.

Pearl Harbor is cool. I was there in 1982 and there was still oil droplets popping to the surface from the Arizona.

When I was a preteen a guy told me he went on the Arizona and said you could still see the guys playing cards on the ship. I actually believed him

Pearl Harbor is an amazing place. I went there when I was younger and admit I really didn't think about what happened there. Once on was there, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I had tears in my eyes by the time I left.

My daughter is a neophyte surfer. I doubt she can do competition stuff for more than a few seconds.

I would be in tears looking down on that ship. I tear up looking at it on Google Earth.
