I am sitting here messing with the playoff generator and as I punch in different scenarios, trying to be realistic, I keep getting Cowboys vs Eagles...What is REALLY weird is just about no matter what "realistic" scenarios I plug in we always seem to get Philly, no matter what the seeds are...Dallas # 3 and Philly #6..or vice versa...and I also got a lot of Dallas #4 and Philly #5 and vice versa..

Now obviously anything can happen over the next 2 weeks, and who is to say what "realistic" really means..but it seems to me that we are probably going to be playing Philly in the 1st roud...

To be completely honest, I would rather NOT have to play philly back 2 back...I just do not like the idea of having to beat any team twice back 2 back..what sucks the most is if we lose meeting 1, meeting 2 will probably be in Philly..

Does it seem to you guys that this is the most likely scenario? Obviously, there are scenarios where this does not play out, I am not suggesting otherwise, I am just asking if this is the most likely scenario.

Here is the playoff generator

lets come up with scenarios where we can avoid philly back 2 back..so we know what to root for

This is getting crazy...I am literally having trouble coming up with scenarios where we do not get Philly...

We need something like, Arizona to lose to Detroit today to happen to avoid it..

Cards up 7-0

I would almost rather lose that last game if it's not a win and in situation. I don't like the odds of beating a team three times...and twice in 2 weeks.

The biggest issue with that is, by losing the final game it means we would have to play in philly the next week...as opposed to playing at home..I dont know which scenario is worse..

It's a sticky situation that's for sure. But having two home games against Philly in a row would be nice :laugh2:

I'm sure season ticket holders would like that.

If the 49ers win out and the Eagles tank the rest of their games we play the 49ers. Very Unlikely.

That would be frickin sweet though.

I will take back to back games against Philly in Dallas! I hate that team and would the opportunity to slam them consecutive weeks.

No, thanks. I want Philly in Dallas in the playoffs. Win or go home. Let's get our 'man' back for good. We match up well against Philly, finally. Let's just take advantage of it.

And the odds of beating a team three times in a season aren't prohibitive. If you can beat a team twice, the odds are in your favor that you can beat them a third time.

this is really getting weird.....

do you guys realize that if we play philly back 2 back...it means the packers will be playing the cardinals back 2 back...

STRANGE

After playing Philly back to back we would more than likely play Minnesota or go back to New Orleans again.

I've been worried about losing to Philly back to back. Could you only imagine what that would be like? Their idiot fans would declare themselves Superbowl champs!

If we win out, we win the East. In that scenario, we could either play the Packers or the Eagles (outside shot for the Giants) in the first round. It depends on whether we or Arizona get the 3 seed and it also depends on how the Packers and the Eagles finish. We could get either of those teams in the first round. If we get in as a wildcard, we would most likely either play the Cardinals or the Eagles (assuming they win the East). Nothing is settled at this point. The bottom line is we most likely either play the Eagles, Packers, or Cardinals in the first round.
