Defense?

Offense has 7 points - a 20 yard drive after a takeaway by the defense. Offense is doing nothing without Smith and Zeke.

I figured the offense might sputter a little at first and maybe get it together in the second half. The defense is what I thought had turned the corner but now Lee is out they back to what they were. I'm not happy about the Offense either.

Need to draft LBs next draft, at least 3. To replace Sean Lee. Too freaking injury prone. I'm am done with him. Or at least use him part time.
Need a MLB as we can't say for sure Jaylon Smith IS that guy.
And one for a backup / future guy.
However this team will think they are fine there. And won't do it.

How does it not make sense? The games Lee has missed our D gets gashed. The loss of your weak side LB should not your D collapse.

He's the heart and soul of our defense he's all over the field. The only bad thing you can say about him is he's too injury prone.

Bowmen would really help right now especially with Lee’s injury.

Maybe, but Bowman is Wilber bad in coverage. He’s a downhill guy and, as we’ve seen with Jaylon, we have no idea how to use players downhill.

I’m not saying Jaylon is good or would be, but when he’s been allowed to play downhill he’s flashed, just like everyone else.

I love the Jaylon Smith story, but it's painful watching him run in circles and tackle downed players 5 seconds after the play is over.

Guess you missed the tackle he made in the back for a loss in the goal line. Didn't help since Brown have up the TD but let's not act like Smith isn't making plays
