Ball was out on contact...he is not a qb that needs to be protected. HORRIBLE CALL and HORRIBLE RULE that you can't review the fact that the ball was out immediately disqualifying the forward progress rule.

Yeah but the point is, the whistle shouldn't have been blown because the ball was out as soon as there was contact, therefore it shouldn't have been forward progress, therefore it should've been a fumble, therefore it should've been a TD, therefore these refs suck.
