I find ugly wins to sometimes be the most promising. It wasn't too long ago we used to lose ugly.

We lost ugly to these guys twice last year.

Every time, too. I was happy to see us slug it out with them on a Dak off night and where they hurt the run.

No turnovers by the offense.
Positive running game against a stout defense.
The defense stymied Giants 3rd down attempts to force punts.
The defense caused a timely turnover.
Special teams performed well when called upon.

I'll take that any Gameday.
1 and 0 is better than 0 and 1.

Tough game against a stout D and I never really felt worried about losing the lead even though the Giants came out strong in the second half. Yeah, Dak was errant on some passes - most of those were high - but he once again protected the ball well. He was much better than last year against them, and the defense played well.

I expect the Denver and Arizona games to look very similar to this.

I think the Rams are more similar. This isnt the same Denver D and Arizona is blitz crazy.

I've been telling my friends all week that Eli is done. After that performance, I feel my opinion is still correct.

I dont think Eli is done but McAdoo was never a great fit for him.

Me neither but we have seen him in shootouts before McAdoo came on board. Once McAdoo came aboard with that WC offense, Eli isnt going vertical like he use to.

The Anthony Brown pick made me so happy. I've been waiting for a CB that can tackle, play zone and read the QB in zone like that. I don't think Eli has ever seen that from a Cowboys secondary.
