Game Day ***Cowboys vs Giants post game thread ***

no turn overs, we didnt die by penalties, we moved the bal at will at times. really just an awesome game from top to bottom. Dak didnt even get sacked.

Actually the internet is buzzing about Kellen Moore...but hey...your so far burried in Prescott's *** that you probably don't see sunshine. So I'm not surprised you don't know what year it is.

You mad bro?

No...I just know he needs to open his eyes down field. He started to do it late in the 2nd and 3rd quarters...hence the chunk plays. But all those short dump plays early...wholly crap...he had guys running across the middle deep...wide open for scores. Giants were in man coverage...single safety look...safety bit on the underneath...slot was over the top...and had his guy beat. All Dak had to do was lay it over the top. He just didn't see it. Happened multiple times.

He literally had a perfect rating and we have numb-nuts still finding complaints.

I'm already tired of the Dakkers taking credit for Kellen's schemes. If Dak was all that...He'd have won last year.
Instead you got an agenda around here...that keeps getting pushed instead of seeing this for what it really is.

It's sad...and it's old.

And really...coaches know...and I'm sure the staff is looking @ this right now on the all 22- He missed all kinds of wide open people today.
With all due respect, I am not sure that you can classify the offense as "Moore's scheme". It may be semantics, but Moore and others have commented that the Cowboys are using essentially the same play book as previous years. What has changed, more than anything else, is the play-calling and, to a lesser extent, pre-snap motion. If that is what you mean by scheme, then I whole-heartedly agree.

One aspect of the offense i found particularly interesting was the vertical passing game.

I've been watching the Cowboys since midseason 1999 when I was 6. That's the best we have ever looked. Dak was sensational with his perfect rating. The team looked unstoppable. Those 5 touchdown drives in a row were simply magnificent. Just completely untouchable.

So, you were born and Jimmy Johnson left. And it has been a long torturous decline ever since.

Can't be a coincidence. This has been all your fault. Explain yourself.

Yeah, pretty good breakdown. Loved every unit exept that Dline. Those interior DT's remain a real issue and they didn't do much in the off season to address it.

And we still have to play Leveon, Kamara, Gurley and Saquon again amongst others. We play a lot of really good running backs this season.

Lol, actually, I was born, then about a month later we beat the 49ers and then walloped Buffalo shortly after that in California.

That’s what they wanted the Giants to think. The offense yesterday was totally different than last years.

it will bite them in the arse in bigger games with better offenses who will turn yards into point..it was horrible display for game 1..again stop trying to overlook a team that gave up 10ypc to a RB and let Eli look like Peyton and those Jag WRs look like the greatest show on turf..they cracked, yes we are used to bend dont break RM defense, but against that offense that was just BAD..

Not really naysaying, just have questions about the D. And after 300 passing yards and 150 rushing, against what was supposed to be a weak OL, those questions remain.

But Dak was awesome, so there's that. Force us to throw!
there were tons of fans here just ripping the boyz and the where we go again playing down to competition after one score, LOL.. par for the course..here we sit in blowout but yes of course the D needs to tighten up..that was concerning..
Having Hill and Taco out might have been bad decsions.. hate to even saying this in public but we could have used Taco LOL

Hill did look lie a deer in headlights in PS but hes guy who seems to be a gamer more then a practice type guy, yes sounds like Taco..im betting he could have helped..way too many tackles by the Safetys way downfield..

I would like to know what Dak and Witten were talking about. Lot of laughs between the 2
Dak was telling Wit welcome back. Witten was telling Dak, "I have not idea how my shoe lace got intertwined in the db's shoe lace".

A++ game by our wide receivers today.
I am curious to see how our receiving core does against a top notch db squad. The giants were bad last year in the secondary and they are still bad.

We are the better team and we showed it today. Not jumping for joy yet but it looks promising. No injuries was nice and a pretty rare occurrence.
