i'll enjoy a superbowl win when they can prove they can earn one.

if they keep acting like they are, they will not be able to have that chance. my criticism is born of tough love, because i can see they have the talent to do so, but not the discipline.

Jimmy Johnson would have said the exact same thing I am when he won us 2 superbowls and his team won us a 3rd.

lol my day went great. Just being honest. It doesn;t do any good to lie to myself about the team i like and happily beat the giants but lose a chance at a SB.

What about the games that were the other way around?
They both looked good today.

Yes they did.. both had their ypc chopped considerably on those late game runs into the Giants basically playing a 10 man front. Zeke should have finished over 7 ypc and Pollard should have been close to 5.

Wow, I was all ready to celebrate a great win but then I started reading the titles of the threads coming out:


"O-line played like trash"

"Fire Kellen Moore immediately"

"A win is a win but.."

..........now I'm depressed.................momentarily!

Now, for the celebration!..

I may be weird, but I actually feel better about this team after this game then I did after last week's blowout. I felt like our strengths really matchup up well with Minnesota's strengths last week, and it seemed like everything went right for us. Plus, we were coming off the unexpected loss to Green Bay, so we knew that the team would be fired up to prove itself against a one-loss team.

In this game, a whole lot of things went wrong and we still put them away. Yes, I know the final score was just a touchdown difference, but the game was clearly over before New York added that final TD. Maybe if they recover the onside kick, they could hit a hail mary, but it's not that likely.

A few adustments the Cowboys made in the second half that I liked.

1st. Leaving a double back backfield during longer passing downs - this helps out with blitzes
2nd. Coming out of the no huddle (mostly). This moves the game along, and allows for Moore play calls. Sometimes, Dak changing the play doesn't work, so it's nice to be able to come back to Moore.
3rd. Using CD even more in the slot. CeeDee carved them up in the slot.

Great win today ........ our RB's and Receivers looked great and Dak was great in the second half.

We got the win. It was not easy. 3 games in what 12 days is not easy. We got a mini break to get healthier. I hope the mistakes we made were mostly due to 3 games played close together…Barring a collapse Mike Mc is about to guide us to back to back playoff appearances…

Which would be a first for the Cowboys for a while. Hopefully, we will have a nice deep playoff run. It'd go a long way to continue building a winning culture.

Great win. Going to 8-3 and plus putting pressure on the Eagles to have to keep on winning in order to not allow the Cowboys to get within reach of overtaking them for the division.
