Playcalling is killing this team Every short yardage situation results in 22 players in a 7 foot box and then there seems to be surprise that there are no creases to run into. Because of this drives stall, T.D.'s are missed and the defense is on the field for the entire game and eventually end up gassed.

the defense is just as much to blame for that, giving up literally every third down

Because as usual the Cowboys aren't even trying to advantage of their weaknesses. Every game the Cowboys go in wanting to play "their way" like this is 1992.

Cowboys just aren't very good. Of course, the expectations & evaluations here are always severely overhyped. Even with Romo this team is still floating around 8-8 this year.
