@Airbag related to the past success of Dez/Romo in 1st half thread:

He had a top 5 QB to assist too. A better example to make my point is that when your top 5 QB goes down. You use every creative measure available to you to involve your most talent player (with QB injury it now becomes Dez) to remain competitive. Coaching wasn't involved to produce those expectations any GM/owner would expect "some" continuance from his highly compensated HC/OC regardless of circumstances and injuries. That's why I get the vibe that JJ's recent comments relating to his frustration with JG not "coaching up" the team relate directly to this aspect of the team and the lack of creativity/scheme/adjustments(talented or not) are becoming more evident by the week. This is on JJ too, but no backup QB is to blame for this type of ineptness and he knows it.
