The Dallas Cowboys have opened as favorites for their game against Detroit.

By David Halprin

It’s a good thing the Dallas Cowboys (-6) locked up their NFC playoff spot a few weeks ago because if they were still chasing it, they would be in trouble. The Cowboys were routed last week by the Buffalo Bills (-13) 31-10, and while it wasn't as bad this week, they still fell. A last-second field goal by the Miami Dolphins (+3) propelled them to a 22-20 win over Dallas.

I suspect the Cowboys will throttle the Lions who really have little to play for and may start giving their walking wounded some time off.

Way to announce that you pay no attention to the league. The Lions have clinched a playoff spot and have more wins than the Cowboys.
Try and find someone else to try and show off whatever IQ talent you might have.

Home game plus Lions may be hungover from clinching. Doable
let's add in maybe they have some extra inspiration or will it be a distraction for the Ring of Honor celebrations for Jimmy Johnson, will it work for us or against us?? And by the way I don't it's more than doable anybody been watching the lions they may be able to move the ball but dude they're in a lot of close games with bad teams or below average teams I mean they barely beat a Viking scene that was just trying to give them the game and it still was very close playing with the third string quarterback...

I expect us to win this game but I'm just curious at how the ring of honors celebrations and stuff is gonna affect the team...

I don't either. The Bills game was the last straw. The Cowboys, McCarthy, Quinn, Jones and Dak are all broken records at this point!
Don't watch then. There are other things in life. Life is short. Do what makes you happy, my friend.

The Lions do have something to play for. Home field advantage in the playoffs. The refs will give the Cowboys some calls this week.

Well I hope it's not too much of A distraction you know or maybe puts too much pressure on the team who knows how it's gonna affect them will it inspire them or will it be as distraction...

Actually, it looks like a lot of fans are. The Cowboys are in a good spot with 2 games to go.

This game against the Lions doesn't matter. We need the Eagles to lose to the Giants in the last week of the season. The Cowboys aren't going anywhere as the 5th seed. They're not good enough.
