The names are irrelevant if the NFL wants to keep allowing olines to hold Micah without penalty.

I think after they saw what Micah can do in the first two weeks they didn’t want a Defensive player like Micah to be the MVP.

I need to know if I should assume we are going to be screwed by the gambling syndicates and if this refs childhood was damaged because he was a Washington fan.

I’d appreciate it if someone would tell me what to think so I know the appropriate level of outrage and blame I can place on officiating after every flag.

Thanks

Lol. He’s definitely a Washington fan that’s been traumatized over the years.

Just beat 'em Cowboys! Myself, I like the head coach for the Lions and the team's directions. Not for one second do I want the Cowboys to do anything less than work and commit. First to produce...first to do it again...DO IT! NO EXCUSES...and Parsons with three sacks! :starspin:

(sigh) You know the losing is bad when fans & media group keep pointing out to the refs and officials for help
or they insist on a conspiracy theory.

We can't be like the Ravens, man up, play str8 up ball and flat whoop some butts across from us ?

I have a feeling they call this one in our favor to make week 17 interesting with both Dallas and Philadelphia playing for the division.

Nick Harris: I'm just as speechless as you are, Michael, when it comes to this issue. Micah Parsons' athleticism has forced opposing linemen to wrap him on a consistent basis, and he can't get a call. There are things that the Cowboys can do following a game; they can send plays to the league to get further explanation, but obviously there isn't any recanting that the league can do from a penalty standpoint.

Mickey: To tell you the truth not sure how to answer your complaint. Teams can send plays into the league the day after games for review and clarification of a call or no call so teams can use for teaching points one way or another. At times the NFL will respond by saying, yep, bad call or missed call if that is truly how they judged. But what good does that do? Can't take 'em back. But officials do get judged after each performance. And one would hope these officials don't have rabbit ears, allowing criticism to affect their judgments going forward. Can't imagine they don't have thicker skin than to retaliate against a layer complaining about missed calls. Just do your job. But they sure were quick to flag Micah for a late hit on Tua, Micah saying afterward head ref Shawm Hochuli told him "he should have pulled off."

I've never placed much concern on the ref's bad calls as they are part of the game. But the continued non-calls on olines facing Micah is unexplainable.

usually at home you're gonna get a little bit of home cooking from the referees we've seen that this year our biggest complaints from the referees have been when we were on the road and they're valid complaints but it seems like they're gonna give the home team more love than the visiting team you add that to the fact that it's a Ring of Honor induction game at home a home crowd we're gonna be able to use the cadence and the communication is better like this game doesn't worry me that much it's gonna be a good game against a good team but it's on the road that we need to worry about who's throwing flags or not throwing flags or picking up flags that they threw that they shouldn't have picked up but yeah that's been going on all year...

Be careful. You’ll get flamed here for alluding that the NFL doesn’t operate with full integrity.

In that other thread, it looks like around 75%of the Zone feels that there’s some type of corruption, going from league mandated control of officiating trends to achieve their goals all the way up to the betting industry picking up the phone and ordering refs to throw or pick up flags while the game actually is going on.

People are silly.

Yep. They got some fires to put out. 2 holding calls on whoever is blocking Parsons should smooth things out for a while (game or 2) then right back at it in TB.

Y'all do remember the long streak a few years back (7 games or 11 games ... can't remember) with no offensive holding calls on the opposing OL's?????

But, but, but…opposing OLs are so much more disciplined than what Dallas puts on the field.
