This is a classic trap game. Cowboys sitting high Oakland bad record bad team. Just like KC however with more at stake. What are some other thoughts on the game? We need the running game for this one. Anyone else feel as though this could be a trap game?

I wouldn't say this is "a classic trap game".

We're coming off of two very lackluster performances against two struggling teams, and their coming off of a very impressive victory over a team that everyone has been mentioning as a "contender".

Our records may suggest it, but nothing else does.

The packers were the trap. The Raiders are the rebound.

IDK this team is weird. we're 7-3 they're 3-7 we should win this game and big at home. But who knows with this team?

How was the packers are trap game? We were playing in GB and they're a good team. Just can't block.

I disagree... I don't think the Cowboys are flying high right now and I think they know it as well. I feel that the GB and washington games are still eating at them and they will come out focused and hungry. At least I hope so.

Coming off a big win, with a division rival the following week. Overlooking a good GB team that's better than their record. Although we never win in Lambeau. I think we've won there once.

Actually, I seem to recall an announcer claiming we've never won there. Maybe he was just referring to a certain month?

Last year the Cowboys won in Lambeau. Geeze, I thought I was getting senile. :laugh2:

Cowboys weren't playing that great on offense in Philly either. I thought it was just the philly D, but, now, the Cowboys are strugglin. As they can squeak out wins now, I am good with that. But, they gotta get that offense going.

Hopefully we have a cycle and will be playing well again in December, but good teams don't play in cycles - they are playing every game to win. I feel like we'll struggle again vs. Oakland and will still win, but something like 24 - 20. I think we'll come out of our slump, but I don't think it'll be this week. Hopefully with some rest we'll have a strong December run into the playoffs - for a change.
