Can someone briefly explain why they didn't go for 2? Literally makes no sense. If they don't get it, they still need just a field goal to take the lead. Now if we get a field goal, they need a TD to take the lead.

I don't think it matters either way. They can go for two later, but they must not believe they'll go blow for blow with the Cowboys.

When the QB is completely engulfed, it's a safer bet to take the sack.

TR just can NOT throw the ball away...has to dance and dart and fiddle fart until there is a sack or turnover. Just once I'd like to see him THROW IT AWAY like 99% of the other QBs in the league. He has been in this league long enough to KNOW there was nothing there on that play and instead he takes a 10 yard sack.
