Why call a short zone when they are that close?

thats my point reeves did the proper thing by reacting to the fake because people have went underneath on us all year everytime we give those 8 yard cushions and steve smith is dangerous with the ball so i dont blame him too much.

but these soft zone coverages has been killing us all year.

I think had they threw a 5 yard pass to smith he would've broke reeves tackle for a td anyway.
