Ware sacked and forced a fumble, recovered and returned by Steve Smith for about 10 yards and almost a TD. He was tackled out of bounds by Newman, and then Roy kinda bumped him. Steve smith said something and then grabbed the nearest ref and said something in face drawing a flag and ejection.

Of course I don't know what was said, but being a head referee for leagues from pee wee flag football all the way up to the high school level I have to say that ejection was BS! You do not kick a team's star player out of a game that has this much riding on it without first warning said player. As a referee you try not to allow your calls decide the outcome of the game, you allow the players to decide it on the field.

I have had coaches yell at me for not kicking a player out of a game for things and when I tell them coach you want me to decide this game or you want your players to decide 9 times out of 10 they have told me they respect me for that decision.
