Rich Gannon wasn't a perennial Pro-Bowler or anything, but he was a pretty well respected and thought of QB in his day.

Definitely decent, a guy that could get you to the playoffs on a decent team..

Parcells was on the right track. I think a real NFL coach could do better here than GARRETT.

Replace JG with a good HC and we would have had at least one (likely multiple) playoff berths during those 8-8 years, and probably would be a lot better than 3-8 right now, even with the Romo injury.

The coach still has input into what players he wants. You can't tell me he didn't want WeDone. He's too concerned about his players wearing suits. If maybe he paid that much attention to detail on the gameplan and his offensive scheme this team might have had a shot. Obviously losing Tony was huge, but this team has looked out of sync and that is a direct reflection of its HC

He has been the offensive coordinator since 2007 and this offense still looks like garbage. It only really works when we're just much better than the other team or Romo starts playing street ball.

So RS what are your thoughts on this oline now? We've built this thing out with top picks yet it's yielding the same results. I know you were/are a big supporter talking about spending high picks on the lines and yet we have with the same or worse results.

Have to agree just bring up Showers from the practice team and lose the rest of the games. Hold on maybe Cassel is a better bet for a loss !!!!

If this or JG being canned or both comes to fruition it will be a blessing. Of course, this is all hoping we have a 100% healthy romo going into next season. If we pick a QB let him learn and develop under Romo

I'm not sure why you are so intent on making this an either/or.

Because I want to treat the cause not the symptoms.

Coaches have come and gone here. Nothing's changed. Because the real cause of all this hasn't changed.

So if you think I'm going to waste a second of my time on yet another scapegoat head coach as if his departure would result in something the other five didn't, you're crazy.
