Ok I watched the week 3 PS game Carolina vs NE, and both of them played starters a whole half.
So it will be interesting to see which team appears more ready to play week 1.

Carolina looked pretty good both on offense and defense. neither team scored a td, Carolina
won 9-3 I think.
McCaffery looked good running the ball, he is strong for a little guy, then has good speed.
Cam looked about usual, some good and bad throws, but doesnt hesitate to run with it.

He had one play where he got hit low, and wound up landing on his head! looking
at the replay I dont see how he didnt break his neck.

So I wonder will the cowboys put someone on cam to counter his running ?? if not he could make some big runs,

Carolina is fav by 3, but with cowboys so new and no experience working together, I think
Carolina will win and it might not be close.
I also think Cowboys will want to try their new receivers so much they will pass more than run, which
isnt good.
I also think their execution wont be good this first game.

If Carolina shuts down elliot early , cowboys will abandon the run for more passing.

But hey Cowboys might surprise me and play good and run alot, and win the game.

Right now I will say Carolina 27 Dallas 13.
What say you ??

I say you could be right, but could be wrong.

First, I don't think Dallas will treat their Wr's like a shiny new toy and force them the ball to use them. That seems like an experiment.
Their style is running, that is what they are good at, and will stick to that. Ball control.
But I do think they take some deep shots more than in the past.

Our D needs to contain Cam, and Jaylon may be that player to "spy" him.
If our D plays like it did in the PS games, I do not see them putting up 27 points on us. If you are using that PS game 3 of the Panthers as a barometer of looking good. Then look at our starting D too, they did not give up any points. And our starting O moved the ball well in the 1st 2 PS games.

I think you are over playing Carolina and under playing Dallas.

I have a bad feeling about this one. I think we lose a close one. 27-30

Will Marinelli keep a spy [JSmith] on Cam? Will the Panthers pick on Robinson?
We will pressure no doubt about that. Can Looney and CWilliams contain the gap?
24/17

Loss In typical cowboy loosing fashion. Will hang in for a while, may even have a lead in 2nd half. Will lose in 4th quarter with late conservative play callling.

Dallas 27
Carolina 17

Our front 7 is legit and their OL is more compromised than ours. Pressure is 100% on them to win at home— most have this game as a road L for Dallas— so I think Dallas plays loose and fast, Carolina plays a bit tight and conservative and the Dallas offense does enough right to send an early message to the NFC that they are here to play

Expecting a big game from our D especially with the OL problems the Panthers are having. I think our offense will play discipline and control the clock because they have to against the Panthers D. Zeke will have 85 to 100 yards rushing. Dak will be very efficient.

Score 24-14 Cowboys pull it out.

Also Carolina has a new OC in turner, so how much did he change this O scheme of theirs, Cam is not a timing type QB that I know of. So they may struggle with that, as many think ours will struggle too.

"everybody is hurt" come here, just one guy. the center but that's everybody.

Panthers 34-13 but it's a close game with nobody getting open and the coaches forgetting how to coach...

Calling for rain on Sunday so that plays more towards a run heavy/defense game. Of which our oline is built for so I think cowboys win 24-17.

I remember making this prediction months ago. I think I predicted a close, flag filled boring ugly defensive game with Carolina eventually edging us out.

However, I give the Cowboys better odds now because I feel like a lot of things that needed to happen, appear to have happened at this point imo. Jaylon is back, Gregory is going to be huge, and y'all appear to be right with the move of Byron back to corner. I'v been impressed especially with that last one. Byron also is going to come in handy when defending runs to his side with that speed and athleticism. Between our linebacker speed and Byron's, Cam better not take off to that side. Fast closers.

After all of that though, still not confident at all in our passing game, which nullifies where we have improved.

Not picking Carolina to win anymore, but neither the Cowboys. Toss up game, will be decided by the turnover margin.

Side note: Really stoked to watch quite a few of these games to start the season.

Good opening week
