No it wasn't. Pay attention to the first down marker on the sidelines. There is a pylon that sits on top of the first down "arrow" mat they place on the ground.

I saw it on the 2nd Patriots play, so I know it is there.

I've not seen that shot except on the goal line. Shrug.
