Why all the hand-wringing, guys? The Patriots have put up an average of 37 points per game, and our defense has given up just 20 points so far. And we've sacked Brady a ton of times. They are an elite offense, and we've not done a bad job today defensively.
Our offense is a shambles. I'm surprised we scored at all. But everyone is calling for Garret's head. We've got Brandon Weeden throwing to Williams, Whitehead, and Street (and Witten). The Pats don't respect our WR's so they're stacking the line. On the 3rd and 4 play to Witten before the field goal, their defense made a really great play. Predictable play call? Maybe, but what else are we gonna do? If we'd thrown it to anyone else, everyone would be screaming "why didn't they throw it to Witten".
I expected to lose today, and by a lot more than we are now.
And as I say that, more spectacular tackling from Brandon Carr. That guy really does blow.
