MHO on the Dez play......10 years ago, that’s a suicide route. ( honestly don’t see how you call it that, each play in formation and route is developed with the idea that the defense is going to move) with all the protections in place, I don’t see how he doesn’t reach out for that ball.

I don’t think he was trying to sit in the zone—he clearly reached back. When WRs stop and the QB throws the continuation of the route, the picks usually hit a guy dead footed.
