I like the way Bill is giving Julius several runs in a row - really testing his desire to be the starter this year, and his endurance.

Well, the take of the Oakland announcers, which I would concur with, was it was a "perfect pass", Powell did not have bad coverage, he just misplayed the ball.

True, he made his play on it too soon, that slowed him down, he could not regroup.

Sheer inexperience in judging arrival time, nothing to shoot ourselves over, imo.

I thought the rookie Reeves looked OK on a couple of plays. Better than Powell!
 
jones for three... then henson draw to 4yd line of raiders... 3rd and goal from 3...
 
Predictable. 1st down handoff to Julius over the left side and the Raiders read it all the way. Stuffed behind the LOS.

2nd down: Nice run by Julius! Ran through four defenders.

3rd down: Now! Julius for the TD! Speed kills on the off tackle run.

We have a running back, this guy runs well. Head up and knows where to go.

He just got stopped on a two point conversion, but ran the ball where it needed to go. Just wasn't enough room.
 
Honestly, when do we stop screwing around with Eddie George and just start Julius?
