How about some analysis by some of you who saw this game.

Campbelll was missed, Anderson's legs look real refreshed, fewer breakdowns on right side of line, Vinnie faster and crisper, still needs work on timing, the receivers are with the program, AB starting to use his body better, AL Johnson a gamer but lack of technique shows (Walter looked better last week imo - not as atheltic but more reliable.)

DARREN was missed, looked like some confusion with defensive secondary calls, Dat looked a bit off on some plays, Roy ran hot and cold, worried about Wiley, Zimmer has to be concerned about pass rush, interior pressure still lacking.

Oh yeah, and Jerry Porter is a stud.

i also agree that the defense is a major concern with me right now. we do not have a great pass rush again. also we do not have a corner opposite of newman at all. we should have signed a free agent cb when we had a chance this might come back to haunt us this year.

on offense we finnally moved the ball a little bit. vinny did a good job of staying in the pockett and hitting receivers down field. we still have not scored a touchdown with first team but atleast we made all three field goal attempts. henson looks light years ahead of what chad hutchinson did with three years layoff away from football. it was a good game for a preseason game.

Not to be a party pooper, but what was the TOP in the first half, when it counted?

None of the entertainment of the second half, by guys who will seldom see the field and many who won't be here two weeks from now, negates the fact that starting squad vs starting squad, we lost.

OK, no more moaning.

It was a "win".
