Play calling has a lot to do with it, though. Look at what the Rams are doing.

Why didn’t he throw it. The WR was wide open and he just pulled it down. That’s not what a $40 million QB does on 3rd down.

That’s why I believe Dak isn’t ever gonna be an elite qb. Takes forever to pull the trigger and only does if the guy is wide open. Thus his completion percentages look great, low turnovers but at the cost of not making plays when little is given by the defense.
