They had something to play for last week.

That's true which is why I believe that we're not truly seeing how good this team can be right now. Playing for "pride" can only take you so far when you go into a game knowing that your playoff hopes have been crushed right before the kickoff.

It's a HUGE deflator for any team, especially one that's as young and inexperienced as we are.

Not making any excuses, they're still to blame for putting themselves in this position to start with, but it's easy to understand why they look so lethargic as they do right now.
