That is on the coaches. You can't run on 1st down every time. Play action passes are your friend.

That's why I'm a fan of throwing on first more often than we do. We're extremely predictable on first down. Ridiculously predictable.

Sure it's tough, but the play to Williams was there. He had single coverage and beat his man, Weeden has to make that throw. Good to see him take it, but we need some of those completed.
