The Cowboys play pretty good defense on first and second down. Then they suck on 3rd and long situations. Which is the complete opposite of what you would expect for a football team because those are statistically the harder conversions to make. This team feels really cursed.

I dont think this team is overachieving. It may have overachieved the last two games. But what about the prior 12? There are teams like Minnesota and Seattle and Indianapolis that have SOOOOO much less talent that Dallas has across the board, yet they are ready to play and dont wilt in big games.

Don't overestimate the talent on this team, especially in the trenches where it counts
