Ok, second half we need to get back to our running game. Julius is running really well and we need to get Barber some touches, period. Payton apparently knows how to rattle Romo . We need to control the clock and keep NO's O off the field. That of course, would require our defense to stop the Saints.

Honestly, I don't understand why either. There is a clear mis-match to our favor, and we're not taking advantage of it.

However there is still another half of play. We are much more physical than these guys and can wear them down with the run then pass.

But most of all our offense needs a long time consuming drive....

Our defense was on the field I bet 80 to 85% of the time in the first half.

We need to bump thier wr's at the line of scrimmage and be physical with them.

It opens it up for the deep ball but if we do not try something different.

I think we'll play hard, but in the end, it doesn't matter. Our defense cannot defend against teams that are content to nickel and dime us.

well that was a pathetic display of football that first half. DID WE EVEN ATTEMPT TO PASS TO OWENS????????? And dont even get me started on our D which was just absolutely pathetic. We couldnt get pressure on a QB if they only had 3 guys protecting, Canty should just get benched!! he is bringing absolutely nothing to the table!

It is the best way to play our WRs - get physical with them and disrupt the timing between QB and WR. If we don't make them pay for their aggressiveness then they will be successful with it all day long.

That's fine but doing it ten yards down field is not legal.

Yup, it's only one game, but this is disappointing.

listen at this point - It appears that NO is just the better team. Dallas certainly came in pumped-up but Brees is showing everyone why is he the best QB in the league at managing a game.

Marino actually threw the ball downfield. All Brees is doing is throwing checkdowns and screen passes, for the most part.
