Cowboys Vs Saints ***Game Thread***

This is two games we have looked pathetic at home.

I put this on Parcells and his staff as much as on the players.

On offense and defense and our game plans were flawed.

They were always ahead of us in game-planning and scheming.

We will not stop and put in 4 or 5 db's in the game. It doesn't matter if the other offense puts 5 wr's in there... we stay with the 3-4 or go with 3 cb's.

Brees has dinked and dunked us in the first half running our Lb's around with short passes and deflating any attempt at blitzes.

In the second half he know we are going to sit back and cover the short stuff and he exposes our week deep coverage.

Text book stuff from the Saints.

Stop Blaming Romo. The defense lost this game. It's not rocket science.

Romo hasnt been exactly Joe Montana tonight either....

are you really suprised that romo is playing bad tonight,Payton groomed him and knew if he could get the score up quick it would force him to press.

he is a gunslinger who will force it in at times when he shouldn't

yeah I'm surprised...the Saints had been pretty average on defense

Paper champs and now when teams hear the name Cowboys, they'll snicker.

Can't wait to hear Norm tomorrow morning.

Complete meltdown.....just hope they can come back from this game.

Nothing seems to be working for this team tonight.

11-5 is still very possible....DON'T FORGET THAT FANS!!!

Signing off...

I agree. Sometime's you just don't have it. I imagine they were starting to read their press clippings. What has been disguised in the past few games is that our safeties still can't cover me!

Does anyone else think that Parcells does not care? I mean he just stands there, does not get fired up, does not try to fire up, does not blink?
hes disgusted with how we're playing.

Newman back to receive, Newman catches goes right, gets up field in a hurry but a flag is down - * illegal block on us*

Like I said earlier 44-0 to the Bears, this game doesn't even compare to that asskicking.

Isn't there another quarter of football left? I really think Peyton would be kind to keep the score under 56-17. I don't recall anything this bad - all due respect to your point.

And whoever said Romo didn't cost us the game I say this. He sure as hell didn't do much to help us win it. His one TD was garbage and 99% of the DB's in the league intercept it.

Why is Tnew returning punts when we are down by 25 points in the 4th quarter. BP just officially earned temporary dunce status.

Well this team got outplayed and most importantly outcoached. I really hate this conservative defense approach of not trying to get pressure. I don't know who is calling the defense, but they should have been more aggressive from the get go versus trying to bring heat when you are behind. This was a good loss for a few reasons:

1. Romo needs to stop throwing bad passes. He has gotten away with a few, but it finally got up to him. He needs to take care of the ball.

2. The defense got exposed. The coaches need to bring pressure instead of giving the QBs all day to throw.

3. The team come out too cold. They will probably try to start out faster instead of waiting to the 2nd half. This finally caught up to them.

4. The team will stop believing the media hype. They will definitely play harder and angrier from now on.

All in all, this loss might be a good thing. Parcells is stubborn and refuses to be more aggressive. This loss might shake things up. I would rather lose this game than get totally spanked in the playoffs. Changes will be made now instead of continuing to be conservative. I think Parcells knows this defense cannot get pressure with just four people after today.
