You are thinking of 2005, the year before the bobble when Drew Bledsoe threw a late interception that led to the winning FG by Seattle. Dallas had the ball on their own 44 yard line with 14 seconds on the clock when Bledsoe threw a terrible pass that Babineaux picked off and returned to the 32. Seattle goes out and kicks a 50 yard FG to win 13-10.

The thing about that game that always made me mad was the inconsistency in the play calling. Twice Dallas started drives inside the 12 yard line of Seattle due to turnovers and went conservative. They ran the ball on first and second down each time and then would try to pass on third down. The first drive they missed a FG(stupid Jose Cortez) and the second they settled for a FG. Two great opportunities and they come away with 3 lousy points. Then they get all pass happy with only 14 seconds left on the clock. It just didn't make sense.

OK. That was Bledsoe. I just remember being soooo pissed off. That's why I don't complain about our close wins. I remember it going the other way. A lot.

You people are delusional if you think the Cowboys can beat the Hawks at their place. LOL. Same people thought we had a chance against the 49ers and I kept saying we werror going to get blown out. How did that turn out? It's going to be a blowout loss.

Relax bro. You'll live longer.
And I'll say 24-20 Seahawks.

I thought we lost to them the year after the bobbled snap when Romo threw an int. to Babineaux (sp.) when we had a chance to win.

Anyway, I'm not conceding. The Cowboys can win this game. This is the big gorilla game. Let's hit 'em with everything we got.

That was the year before (it was Bledsoe). I was at that game. I have been to Seattle four times, 2001, loss, 2004 win on Monday night, 2005 loss and 2012 loss. I cannot go this year as my son has a hockey tournament so he and I cannot go.

my wife said I knew Parcells was going to run 24 into the line twice and then would be incomplete. I remember they threw a holding call in the endzone on one of those drives then picked up the flag.

Cortez blew it on an easy FG. We should have won that game.

If we played the 49ers this week it would be a different story, Romo is much healthier now.

So you witnessed the great Julius Jones game. Good for you. I thought we had something in him. Oh well.

You say "You people". I'm glad you're excluding yourself, as you're obviously not a Cowboys fan and just trolling.

Anyways, what were your predictions for the last 4 games?

Also, what are tonight's winning lottery numbers?

I don't think it's a good match up for us. With Carter out, and R McClain playing on a bad wheel, I think our defense will be really vulnerable against runs and short passes. If the offense and special teams play flawlessly, and the defense can hold them to field goals and get a few turnovers, the Boys can win.

Unfortunately, I think Seattle is too good at home to accomplish that. My pick is Seattle to win by 7 to 10 points.

I certainly hope I am wrong and would love a hefty plate of October crow. Come on Cowboys serve it up!

Everyone wants to talk about the bobbled snap. The first and only year of the slick kicking ball. Everyone wants to forget the league change the ball the very next season.

yeah I remember that game, went myself, left home in Vancouver around 930, to home at 1am but loved it. We went way up, fell behind, benefited from a bad call on the Johnson TD as he was out of bounds, then onside kick and Julius running for a winning TD. Was awesome!!

The points don't add up. We lost by 11. He's got us losing by 27.

I'm not saying we'll lose by 27 and I'm not saying I don't think there's a chance we win, but there's also a chance that we blow up against them. They essentially did that to Green Bay and I think Green Bay's a talented team regardless of their record. They did it to a lot of teams last year, as well as in the Super Bowl. Hopefully we play our game and don't make big mistakes and I think it'll be a close one, but it's not a given.
