I wouldn't have anticipated 338 yds. in offense for DAL vs. 156 for SEA.

The first offensive and defensive series for DAL were cause for apprehension but, to the credit of both units, they got their feet under them quickly. SEA never really did, after a sharp opening drive.

Wow, I didn't know that. That's also amazing. Always nice to start 1-0, even if it is preseason.

Players who hurt their stock some to me were Holden (obviously since you can't try to pick up a punt on the ground inside the 5), Carson, Rogers, backup tackles Thomas and Shelton.

Special teams were bad with the fumble, long return and penalties.

Not compared to what I saw with Malik Davis and Isreal Abanikanda.

Yeah, those numbers seem out of whack, but Seattle did start a couple of their possession deep in our territory, so I guess that's why it feels that way.

Mingo didn't look bad. Had a couple of nice catches on slant routes and chased down the punt returner from behind to stop him from scoring.

Camden Brown was just better. Probably the best receiver on the field tonight for either team with his two TD catches.

I only got to watch the second half, but it was odd seeing the Dallas Backup D setting the tone. I didn't know 75% of the players. I take that as a good sign.

You can tell that Tyrus Wheat has more actual regular-season snaps than many of these players. He knew how to attack and got some pressure because of it. Both he and Land looked much better than Liufau, who is learning to be a pass rusher.

People say preseason doesnt mean anything. I disagree. At a minimum it shows if the coaching staff is organized and running a disciplined program. Are yhe guys ready to play? This is the sort of game we usually get spanked in... an opener against the defending champs. Kudos to the coaching staff

After the first two drives vs Milroe they learned how to contain him. Take away his wide open running lanes and he’s certainly nothing special at this level yet and barely an NFL QB

Davis is really good at knowing what cut he needs to make to get into the hole and doing it at full speed. That allows him to get through the traffic and then just have to break arm tackles. In defense of Mafah and Blue, though, I don't think the same holes were there for them.

Your eyes might be better than mine and I want to give them the benefit of the doubt so I'll take your word for it and try to pay better attention next game.

I feel like the team just doesn't trust Davis to hold up with extended snaps.

I'm not impressed with Blue- he's not horrible though. I think he plays too "cool" and relys on his own perceived ability vs opponents who are now his athletic equivalent.

Mafah I feel is gritty but lacking.

I like Abanikanda if we need a true workload RB behind Javonte. Too me- he's got to make the team.
