I will be very interested to see how our draft compares to what the Steelers did being that they picked right after us. I have warmed up to the Taco pick although I preferred Watt. Here's what we got compared to what they did.

Round 1 (28) Taco vs (30) TJ Watt
Round 2 (60) Awuzie vs (62) JuJu Smith
Round 3 (92) Lewis vs (94) Cameron Sutton
Round 4 (133) Switzer vs (135) Josh Dobbs

Watt makes way more sense for the Steelers 3-4 than for the Cowboys 4-3.

Both teams have very good drafts. Ours was much deeper, but Im a big fan of Dobbs and he could be Bens successor.

BTW Dobbs was taken with the same pick Dak was

Just don't see it with Dobbs...then again I said the same thing about Dak so who knows. Dobbs is just flat out inaccurate though

Watched Dobbs for four years. I feel like when he's on he can be really accurate but he will have to clear up footwork and accuracy to be successful in NFL. Prescott was much more accurate in college in my opinion than Dobbs

As someone who wanted Watt over Taco, I'll definitely be comparing the production between the two. But I'm obviously hoping that Garrett and Marinelli's decision proves to be the right one. The rest were simply based on vastly different needs.

Cowboys > Stealers

How many WR's do the Stealers really need?

Dobbs pick is tied to him replacing Pig Pen.

I honestly wanted Watt myself but I'm just wondering if his name is TJ Smith how many people would want him over Taco

It's a factor to be sure, but his brother didn't get 11.5 sacks in the Big Ten for him, right?

I think Pittsburgh killed us when you compare the long snapper position.

I was pro-Watt, but was not anti-tak. so if the coaches think Watt is a 3-4 then I can see that. So those cross each other out.

The JuJu pick to me was all about them not being able to trust Bryant. They are the same player and I actually give the edge to Bryant if he could keep clean. Do you draft a WR in the 2nd when you have the exact same one already on the team? So I would downgrade using a 2nd for that reason.

Lewis is better than Sutton. As long as he is cleared and not suspended, we won that one easily.

Not a fan of Dobbs. Love Switzer, but I'm a UNC fan.:)
