About half of them have been tipped balls, and sometimes the bounce doesn’t go your way. It’s the reason turnovers are the least reproducible/predictable stat in the sport.

i 100% agree, but there are certain guys who play a specific way that manipulates that probability in their favor. Rodgers has always thrown ridiculously low int numbers whether due to ball placement, awareness of Dline hands, or whatever he's doing. Dak was always that guy too until this year. Every year of his career he may have had 1-2 bad games, but over the course of the season he'd have it well under control. This year he may set his career high DESPITE missing 5 games. Something screwy is happening beyond bad luck

I'm a diehard fan and I'm truly disappointed. Can we really play with the Eagles?

They are clearly better. We may be able to win at home but we aren’t beating them up in Philly in January if we even get that far/

Three observations:

1) This is not a championship caliber team...would not be surprised if we lose the first playoff game
2) Is there a worse team in the league at 'gadget' plays...even screen passes are disasters waiting to happen
3) Could we just let Cooper Rush play the 2nd quarter so we keep Dak from gid
I Would expect McCarthy to be fired after the Cowboys lose in first round

There is nobody that can convince me that this offense wouldn't run more smooth with Rush.

We've seen it.

Dak just makes too many bad decisions.

It would be hard to disagree if they lose today. Because they both would’ve played a similar number of games, with Dak losing to 3 bad teams and giving up turnovers every game, and Cooper only losing to the best team in the league to this point, with no interceptions outside of that game.

Dak just has a way of wasting downs. He over/underthrows the simplest passes on almost every series, but people blame the receivers for not making circus catches

Players cant execute bad play calling and a bad playbook .

Its how things are .
Should have run the ball on some of those 2nd downs to make 3rd down more manageable and to burn some clock. I do not understand the playcalling sometimes at all. Guys gotta hold onto the ball too.

Remember this game the next time you want to berate some of us for doubting this team is playoff ready or for saying they worry about facing TB, SF or...anyone I guess, in the playoffs.
Yeap! I get hammered on this board if I don’t say, the Cowboys will win it all this year. Seems like lot of 12 or 13 year olds on this forum.Totally blind homerism around here. No objective Level headed fan opinions are allowed.

There is zero to do. Look at the contract, Dak is here for years to come unless he could be traded, but he would have to agree with the trade.

We are hitched to Dak for good or bad.
We get that.

Don't extend him and dump him as soon as you can is where the people that want the Cowboys to succeed are at.

I know a lot happened after, but if Turpin hold onto the punt I believe boys would have been up by at least 2tds at the half, the fumble gave a team that didn’t want to show life, the td after the turnover gave them reason to compete and now win

There is still plenty of time but the Cowboys are clearly not ready for this game. They simply don't respect the Texans. That 2 minute drive for the FG proves it. They didn;t care about taking time off the clock because they didn't think the Texans could come back and score with less than a minute on the clock. Against a good team the Cowboys would have taken more time off the clock preventing the opponent from doing what the Texans just did. I don't think a loss today means anything more than they Cowboys took a team too lightly and hopefully they learn from that.

I think we do have to worry about the injuries to the CBs. Jospeh is not mentally ready to play CB in the NFL. Teams will make him pay.

Well we learned a few thing in that half. We are playing just like last week and offense relying on defense for short fields and turnovers. We don’t have any dbs bc they are all hurt due to being on the field too much bc Dak goes three and out over and over. Inaccurate passes that the homers blame on receivers, at the end of the day he’s just not good enough and the experiment should end. I don’t need a new team, I need a new a new qb. I want a defense that is equally invested in so we have a legitimate reason to blame them when they play poorly. Invest in the defense to overcome the Mediocre offense. Everyone said all week how Dallas has number one offense since Daks return, they just forgot to mention that the defense was creating an unsustainable amount of turnovers.

Coaching matters. This team is legit super bowl contenders if it was better. I'm tired of hearing about our talent every year. Our coaching is hanging us out to dry and it is disgusting.
