some people do get upset, yes, but tonight is supposed to be our dress-rehearsal for the regular season, and we came out in a tattered rag

I see what you're saying, but I wasn't expecting us to come out this flat and look this bad

Tonight isn't the dress rehearsal....the entire pre-season is carefully orchestrated by the coaches. Don't get suckered in by the mediots and everybody saying "This is a dress rehearsal for the pre-season...."

We ALWAYS have bad games during the pre-season as well as the regular season.

We woulda thought that we would play Indianapolis so well that one week, yet when we faced another team we looked totally different.

This crap happens in the pre-season just like it happens in the regular season....only difference is that it doesn't mean a thing during the pre-season.

It only means something to the guys trying to make the team.
