Are you sure it was zone? Looked like he had a lot of space in front of him, but if he stopped he would have had 2 guys there.

There was no defender anywhere near where the ball was thrown. Romo was throwing to a spot where he thought Dez would be.

It's the very same principle both Dooley and Romo were talking to Dez about last week during that first sideline non-incident.
