How has special teams gotten this bad in one year?? Doesn't make sense. That's one unit that usually stays pretty consistent year to year. Who'd we lose that is killing us on coverage? It has been going on all pre-season.

My guess is they are looking at a lot of young guys to see who can help out on STs. And that would lead to a lack of cohesiveness. You can't tell without the All 22 so that's just a SWAG.

I got an issue with McFadden allowing himself to be caught from behind for 4th down. Randle would have converted that imo.

I'm not going to worry about ST until after the cuts are made and the real special teamers are in there.

There were all regulars in there on that TD.

I used to think preseason was indicative of how the team will perform in the regular season. Does anyone remember how bad they looked last preseason? Absolutely horrific.

And then they went 12-4.

So it's hard for me to really get up in arms over this anymore.

No we wasn't. Stop making excuses. This team offense isnt looking sharp.

Dunbar and Wilcox I guess are young, but they have ST experience............

That's what happens when they haven't played together in the preseason. It all starts with the OL.
