hello fur---- it is exciting cowboys beat Vikes and only 1/2 game out of first...but we know if we win divsion we are one and done...what could be worse we win first game and lose second in playoffs and be around 26 in pick

kinda tired of not being more competitive in playoffs

I know, but it's always fun to get the wins where we can get them. Especially with how bad 2020 has been. What's a 4-12 or 5-11 record compared to a 2-14 record?

I think it's important for the defense to be rewarded with a win and gain confidence in the scheme. Mccarthy had some great play calls and there was a nice balance between Zeke and Pollard. Dalton didn't ha e the monster yards but was very efficient and giving more playing time will get better. Providing the offensive line can holdup.
Enjoyed watching these players get rewarded for their efforts.

This game reminded me on the Vikings game last season. The difference ? A better coach and a better throw on 4th down. Last year same scenario, on 4th down Dak throws a duck out of bounds intended for zeke.

I liked the way they played today. Defense was better than it’s been all year, save for those 2 corners we have! Them 2 guys are horrid.
I’ll take the win tho.
See y’all on Turkey Day.

Tied for first place with 3 wins!:laugh::thumbup:

Sadly.....we still gave up 28 points.....and yet people feel like we improved.

Nolan is still trash.....and he needs to go.

oh no. They won. They did not tank today. Let the crying begin.

No crying here, IMO we have a win/win situation: A Win is fun, and a loss is a draft pick. The problem is if you don't win enough then you're mediocre, if you don't lose enough you lose too much draft position. Oh well. The W felt good for a change.

2nd and 3 or 3rd and 1 is common in today's NFL....not that I hate offense but I miss seeing great defenses, rules have made that extinct.

Winning the NFC Least isn't exactly what I would call a lofty achievement, especially this year.

It isn't but a win on Thanksgiving would bring the Cowboys to 4 wins and make it possible for this team to win a bad division which isn't what the Tank for Lawerence fans were hoping for.

Thank goodness for those 2 dropped interceptions.

What are the two drops? The one in the end zone is fair. The second one by Kendrick was not really close to being an interception.

It feels good to win!!

We are going to win this division.

I missed most of the game. Was McGovern good? How did Zach play at RT?

If the answers to these questions are positive then I don’t understand the Steele experiment at all.

I believe starting Steele was a combination of factors, most of them injury related. Erving was hurt, Knight was hurt and McGovern wasn't ready for some reason (maybe injury too). Then, when Knight was ready, Smith got hurt. Then, even Martin got concussed.

There was a small window in there where we could have started McGovern at RG and Martin at RT, but it wasn't open long. The bye week allowed us to implement that option.

I am glad we're able to do it now, though, mainly because I want to see McGovern play, so we can evaluate whether he should take over at left guard next year. I'm hoping when Smith and Collins return next year that our starting line will be Smith, McGovern, Biadasz, Martin, Collins.
