I don't think anyone believes Dallas will win another game, but what about keeping it within 20 points?

I say nah.

you know who is used to losing Mike Mccarthy. before he got fred in gb and this year he has done nothing but lose. Maybe it starts there.

they have to make defensive personnel changes the week. Trade a few vets and release a guy.

Andy Dalton is not a viable NFL starter beyond 1-2 games.

He can't process game speed anymore.

70-63-1

7 more losses to Career .500 W/L record

Pathetic

it's getting more and more difficult to stay positive.
am i wrong or did we look better under garrett?
and even during that season when we lost Romo and had to go with Cassel....we looked better than this.
and i was all for firing garrett.
originally...i wanted Urban Meyer.
i liked the McCarthy hire.
i get we've had no real off-season.
i get we've had a ton of injuries.
but so has everybody else and they are finding ways thru it.
how do we look worse under McCarthy...and garrett has yet to accomplish what he did.
i had no idea how many warts on this team Dak was covering.
i thought we could be a 10,11,12 win team.
i had no idea...not one....that we were a bad team.
im lost.

When you've got Terrance Steele, Cam Erving, C. Williams, Biadesz, and McGovern blocking you have no reason to not be successful.

It sucks now but like 89 losing is for the better.
Jimmy Johnson was the defacto general manager during that era. How would you define 'for the better'? More wins per season? A few playoff appearances? Been there. Done that.

For me, a better 'for the better' indicator would be Jerry Jones taking a backseat, exorcise himself of the general manager title from his other two owner and president self-appointments and hire a qualified professional from outside the organization as his general manager. Do I think that happens? No.

I will wait-and-see what 'for the better' ultimately ends up being.

Wow. Just wow. In all my years of watching even the worst years, at least there was effort and something good. Dak was killing it, but he would have been running for his life today. At least the Oline has an excuse. Defense is trash.

No excuses for the defense, but the offense has been destroyed by injuries.

That would be a major change.

im lost.
It's culture.
I have to believe that McCarthy is not in charge. He can't be this bad of a coach, can he?
Do you REALLY think he wanted Kellen Moore?
I don't.
But he is so happy to be back in the league, he likely conceded to Jerry being the GM/coach.
In essence, he submitted to the culture.
Of course, having Nolan as a DC doesn't help.
But our culture is screwed up. If 25 years hasn't taught us this by now, we'll simply remain wondering why.

Coach Landry's worse teams were more competitive than this.
that 3-13 team lost 8 games by 7pts or less...and had the lead in the final 2 minutes.

i would never guess under a coach like mccarthy that this team would show no fight.
its either the players.
or the coaches.
and something has to give.
they can't and apparently won't continue together.
thats obvious after today.
